I like this a lot.  It combines black design with traditional natural/realistic rendering  

However, notice how the head of the Jaguar recedes rather than advances with respect to the warrior's arm and it's won body?  This is because the spots and line weights of the head outline and detail get lighter instead of heavier with respect to those surrounding them.  The features, outlines and spots when emphasized will make the head come forward.

Also, the chin is either tangent to the warriors thigh, or then it is overlapped by the thigh.  Instead, make the chin overlap the thigh to bring it forward in space.  (Maybe even make the head bigger.)
